Qualifications & Experience
Arabella has just completed her first year studying Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the University of Newcastle, where she undertook a two-week placement at a paediatric clinic.
Arabella has worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Newcastle. Some of the tasks involved in this role were completing screening activities with students within the special needs unit to help provide a school based physical activity program, as well as investigating the effects of a primary school-based leadership program in helping develop student leadership.
Professional Interests
Arabella is passionate about working with children and particularly enjoys the school environment. She enjoys using play-based activities to enhance engagement within educational settings and group activities. Arabella enjoys breaking down skills into simple steps to support children to reach their goals.
Creative Skills
Arabella enjoys helping children to develop their imagination by supporting them to create games and storylines which they can apply to their play. Arabella loves physical activity, particularly netball which she has played and coached for many years.
